1·11 days agoryzen 5800xt. it didnt matter if it was booted bare metal either, it would max out 1 or 2 cores and never hit gigabit speeds

0·8 months agoIncorrect. The built in quicksync is adequate for a limited number of simultaneous streams. Considering I plan for frigate to handle multiple cameras on this machine I will need more streams.

0·8 months agoI want zenarmor and suricata. Intel N series chips cannot handle that. The dGPU is just needed for handling media decode and encode, not actual rendering.

I cleaned the cat box yesterday and considered that an accomplishment.
Fuck.
I do use VLANs. But in testing even without them going laptop->server->WAN and nothing else it could not do it.
