Witzige Anekdote: ich habe durch die Kinder viele Sachen verstanden, die meine Eltern gemacht haben. Gerade so viele Dinge, die ich als “blöde, gutbürgerliche Traditionen” abgestempelt habe, wie “wir warten bis alle fertig sind beim Essen” machen plötzlich Sinn, weil bspw. Kind 1 schon Nachtisch will, Kind 2 dann beim Anblick des Nachtischs aber mit dem Essen aufhört und nachts Hunger hat. Also back to square 1 und wir warten alle, bis alle fertig gegessen haben 😂.

Lange Vorrede für was ich eigentlich sagen möchte, aber ich bin halt in Plauderlaune: rumliegendes Spielzeug stört mich irgendwie immer noch nicht. Hab wohl aus der Kindheit einen eingebauten Radar und kann nachts ohne Probleme durch die Wohnung navigieren. Meine Frau bricht sich regelmäßig fast die Haxen und flucht sich nachts durch die Bude.

How do you know that people do not read the scripts first and come to the conclusion “that is safe, nice that somebody build a convenience script I just need to read”?

Same as above. I read those comments as helpful “hey, that worked for me, maybe it does for you, YMMV” instead of “everybody should do it”.

Depends highly on the people. I learned that way, to get started with recipes enabled me to get early successes which in turn motivated me.

Down the road I needed different things from my setup, which could not be found in a simple recipe anymore, so I needed to learn the parts of the machine.
